Reports

The Reports feature lets you generate formatted governance reports for compliance audits, executive review, and operational analysis.

Overview

TheWARDN captures a complete record of every governance decision, violation, and agent action. The Reports feature transforms this data into structured documents that can be exported, shared, and submitted to auditors.

Export Formats

All reports can be exported in two formats:

Format	Best For
PDF	Compliance submissions, executive presentations, formal record-keeping
CSV	Data analysis in spreadsheets, importing into BI tools, custom processing

Report Types

Governance Summary

A high-level overview of governance activity for a specified time period:

• Total actions governed
• Verdict breakdown (cleared / held / blocked) with percentages
• Active agent count
• Active policy count
• Trend comparison vs. previous period
• Top action types by volume
• Top agents by volume

Violation Report

A detailed record of all governance violations:

• Violation count by severity (CRITICAL / HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW)
• Violation count by type (SGP_VIOLATION, CHAM_VIOLATION, etc.)
• List of all violations with timestamps, agents, and descriptions
• Resolution status tracking
• Repeat violation identification

Compliance Audit Report

Designed for external auditor consumption:

• Hash chain integrity verification results
• Policy inventory with configurations
• Agent registry with access controls
• Governance mode history (when modes were changed)
• Escrow decision log (who approved/rejected, when)
• Violation log with resolution records
• Complete audit trail for the reporting period

TIP

Run a hash chain verification before generating a compliance audit report. A passing verification strengthens the report by confirming that no audit records have been altered.

Agent Activity Report

Focused on a single agent's governance history:

• Total actions submitted
• Verdict breakdown
• Policies most frequently triggered
• Violations attributed to the agent
• Tier distribution of actions
• Activity timeline

Configuration Options

All reports support the following configuration:

Option	Description
Date Range	Start and end date for the reporting period
Agent Filter	Include only specific agents
Action Type Filter	Include only specific action types
Verdict Filter	Include only specific verdicts

WARNING

Large date ranges with no filters may produce very large reports. Use filters to scope the report to the data you need, especially for CSV exports that may contain thousands of rows.

Scheduling Reports

Reports can be generated on demand from the console. For recurring report needs, use the date range selector to maintain consistent reporting periods (e.g., always generating a monthly summary for the preceding calendar month).
